About IDI:
International Development Institute (IDI), is a leading training and capacity-building provider based in Nepal. IDI works closely with public and private clients in assessing their institutional needs and developing programs to address them. IDI provides capacity-building and institutional strengthening programs through short-term courses, projects, training, workshops, study tours, and business consulting. IDI works closely with federal, provincial, and local government agencies, private sectors, financial institutes, and education sector actors in the areas of Education, Tourism, Economy, and Governance.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in development studies, economics, social science, international development, international relations, journalism, or relevant fi eld of study
Skills Required:
● Proficiency in written and spoken English
● Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
● Familiarity with Nepal’s regional, provincial, and local development contexts (preferred)
● Strong analytical and research skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with respect for cultural diversity
Job Responsibilities:
● Draft concept notes and reports in close coordination with the IDI team
● Write blogs, articles, and social media content
● Conduct research, identify potential collaborations, and explore grant opportunities aligned with IDI’s mission
● Assist in organizing events, travel, meetings, workshops, and provide administrative support to the program team
● Perform other tasks as assigned
