WHY DIGITAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM?

Phase 1: Online Orientation & Pre-Work (from September 1)

• Access to the Canvas learning platform and introductory materials.
• Virtual orientation session to set expectations, build community, and introduce the capstone project.

Phase 2: Virtual Interactive Sessions

• Two live, 2-hour virtual workshops scheduled prior to the in-person week.
• Project-based assignments to apply learning between sessions.

Phase 3: On-Site Immersive Experience (September 15–19)

• Five days of in-person, hands-on training in Nairobi.
• Daily workshops (2.5 hours each), team-based activities, and leadership simulations.
• Half-day industry visits to leading tech hubs such as iHub, Nairobi Garage, Nailab, and the Business Incubation Center.
• Roundtable discussions with leaders from organizations like Kenya’s Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, Safaricom, and virtual connections to Silicon Valley experts.

Networking and Community

• Throughout the program, participants will collaborate on a capstone project, with ongoing feedback from instructors and peers.
• The program is designed to foster a strong professional network, both locally and globally.

PROGRAM COST

The cost of the customized Five-day program is $2, 500 per person. Mr. Bineet Sharma boasts 35 years of experience in computer science, education, and tech leadership. He’s a software development veteran who now leads curriculum innovation at UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Extension. His expertise lies in crafting technology leadership programs for both leaders and educators, focusing on critical areas like digital leadership, scalability, security, and generative AI.
