SUMMARY:Digital Leadership Program: An Immersive Blended Learning Experience
DESCRIPTION:WHY DIGITAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM? \nNairobi\, often referred to as the “Silicon Savannah\,” has emerged as a leading hub for innovation and technology in Africa. Driven by initiatives like Kenya’s Digital Economy Blueprint and the Kenya National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2025-2030\, the city offers a dynamic environment for digital transformation and leadership. With world-class tech hubs like iHub\, a thriving startup ecosystem\, and global tech giants such as Google\, Microsoft\, and IBM investing locally\, Nairobi has become a springboard for innovation across the continent. Kenya’s groundbreaking mobile technology revolution\, led by M-Pesa\, is a testament to the region’s ability to leapfrog traditional systems through digital solutions. Backed by strong infrastructure\, a youthful and tech-driven workforce\, and government initiatives like Vision 2030\, Nairobi offers the ideal environment to shape and develop the digital leaders of tomorrow. It’s a place where ideas meet action\, and where leadership in the digital age takes root and grows. \nFor this program\, we have combined technical expertise with leadership development\, equipping senior executives to navigate and lead within this vibrant ecosystem. The participants will gain insights from Nairobi’s pioneering digital strategies and learn how to apply them to drive innovation and \nPhase 1: Online Orientation & Pre-Work (from December 1) \n\nAccess to the Canvas learning platform and introductory materials.\nVirtual orientation session to set expectations\, build community\, and introduce the capstone project.\n\nPhase 2: Virtual Interactive Sessions \n\nTwo live\, 2-hour virtual workshops scheduled prior to the in-person week.\nProject-based assignments to apply learning between sessions.\n\nPhase 3: On-Site Immersive Experience (December 7–11) \n\nFive days of in-person\, hands-on training in Nairobi.\nDaily workshops (2.5 hours each)\, team-based activities\, and leadership simulations.\nHalf-day industry visits to leading tech hubs such as iHub\, Nairobi Garage\, Nailab\, and the Business Incubation Center.\nRoundtable discussions with leaders from organizations like Kenya’s Ministry of Information\, Communications and the Digital Economy\, Safaricom\, and virtual connections to Silicon Valley experts.\n\nNetworking and Community \n\nThroughout the program\, participants will collaborate on a capstone project\, with ongoing feedback from instructors and peers.\nThe program is designed to foster a strong professional network\, both locally and globally.\n\nOUR PROGRAM STRUCTURE \nOur team of experts will facilitate an intensive hybrid training program\, combining virtual sessions with in-person\, classroom-style modules.
